At ShareTracker.io, we believe your financial history is yours alone. Our software is designed with Privacy by Design principles. Unlike cloud-based trackers, ShareTracker is a self-hosted application. This means the vast majority of your sensitive financial data stays on your own hardware.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide our services and process your one-time purchase:

Account Information: Name and email address used for license delivery and software updates.
Transaction Data: Payments are processed via Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
Technical Logs: Basic server logs (IP address) to ensure site security and prevent fraud.

3. The Self-Hosted Distinction

The ShareTracker Application operates independently of this website. Your portfolio data, trade history, and dividend logs are stored in your own local database. We have zero access to this data.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide core functionality, the application interacts with public APIs (like Yahoo Finance) directly from your server to fetch market prices. ShareTracker.io does not monitor or intercept these data transfers.

5. Your Rights

Regardless of your location, we honor your fundamental privacy rights. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (purchase history) or request its erasure at any time.
